Trident Disabilities Inc. believes that change starts with our volunteers, staff, and community supporters who put their all into our projects. These projects were created to build communities and assist existing communities with all capabilities of our disability driven mission.
Trident Disabilities Audio Archive
The Trident Disabilities Audio Archive seeks to create a more accessible world for people with disabilities creating an extensive database of unconventional texts that are not often created in an audio format. These texts will include both academic and recreational works that people with disabilities could potentially use. This includes but is not limited to Menus, Instructions, Books, Magazines, Newspapers, Essays, and much more. We also want to push for advocacy in many spaces where companies can see the benefits that audio has, and they either incorporate a system themselves to provide audio or possibly we can assist them.
Arianna Moore Legacy Project
The Arianna Moore Legacy Project was created to honor a crucial founder of our non-profit. By establishing projects in her name, her impact on the disability community is so profound that her memory alone continues to create change. Take the time to look through our currant and future projects along with Arianna’s Everlasting Legacy where many share their memories of her and the impact she left on their lives. Get ready to meet “Arianna Moore Beyond the Chair” as she would often say.
Trident Disabilities Video Series
The Trident Disabilities Video Series Project is a project focused on uplifting the many voices of people with disabilities and the many people in communities based around disability. Our hope, is that by creating a space where voices from various backgrounds and communities can come together we may strengthen our community bonds, provide a platform for information, and empower people with disabilities in virtual communities they can get involved in.
